unlocking iphone HELP!

hey my phone crashed on me and i am having problems unlocking it. i have been all over the net looking for ways and programs to unlock it. but it always brings e back to where i started. anyone here have any idea on what would work? i have it in recovery mode but cant see to get anywhere. need help please

iPhone or iPhone 3G?

If it's the 3G, it can't be unlocked yet unless you get a TurboSIM, or similar.

You need to restore it to software version 2.1 (available here). Then use QuickPwn to unlock & jailbreak it.

If you're on a Mac, I can do it for you for $50, if you're uncomfortable doing it yourself. If you're a Windows user, you can post a wanted ad on Craigslist looking for someone to do it.

i figured out how to winpwn it today, i just have one issue, left. i can get texts, but when i go to send one it wont send. any ideas?
