    Default IMPORT MEET- June 14-16 Edmonton

    The Alberta RSX/Celica Club is having its 2nd meet in Edmonton over the June 14-16 weekend.

    Fri- meet and greet/cruise/ club or food?

    Sat- We have reserved a large 50-75 people picnic area in hawrelak from 11am -2pm maybe longer for us to have a BBQ
    - at night, dinner then a cruise and out to red's or a club or something

    sun- lunch/cruise

    More details will be avail soon....so book off work now and get that Zaino out.

    If this meet is going to head over to bud park for some racing I would be interested... wonder what 1000ft elevation can do!

    I would like to go! Would need a ride tho, willing to pay expected share of fuel and such. (NOTHING SEXUAL, as I'm sure SOMEONE will meke referance to )

    Bud drags will be fun!!! We can go to that and then hit up somewheres for food after.

    It will be nice to see some more imports out there.


    On fri- Where should we meet to head down to BUD? What about Heritage mall SW corner- it wont be busy there....around 6ish???? I believe drags open at 5 tech at 6-6:30 and runs begin at 630....and finish at sunset.

    Hmm... now I want to go up on Friday... Kenny you want to head up together?
    You'd have to wait for my slow car though... hehe...

    Here is a suggestion... I think that we should all try to keep posts about this meet to one forum on one site. I hate jumping from site to site to read all the different ideas... Maybe we could pick one and stick with it?

    I'm working about 5 minutes away from Bud Park and I don't want to deal with all the edmonton traffic so why not make a meeting place out in nisku or something?

    I guess we should keep the planning done on albertacelicas or clubrsx and only post updates as they are finalized on the other forums such as this one. That would help keep the confusion down.

    WE can have the edm people meet at heritage and then drive out to nisku and meet yah.

    The BBQ will NOT be at hawrelak as it is completely booked. we will be at emily murphy park which is still south side of the river just across groat road east.

    If you go, make sure you give your car a chance to adjust to the
    change....set the car's computer to learning mode for faster
    results with that

    here is the link -- PS this meet is started by us RSX people which in each meet it just grown to add celica's to any imports - shit anyone that is into cars really.. I am bugging a few of my friends to show up also for the meet -- the ones with sweet rides anyways hehehe
