At least you were not banned. User me&you was banned after making two comments about how nbaker was selling a car in the marketplace and had photos of it on the track in the ad. Either pathetic moderating or wiping out another local car broker on the boards. me&you has a vast knowledge of automobiles of all makes and was an asset to the board. Bad move on the mods part.

Oh yeah, me&you also brought to my attention that the thread regarding how nbaker was filling his website with cars for sale of which he had no association with was nuked!

My thread was still #3 in the list when I made that post so I wasn't "bumping" it. Just wanted to say that it is now "OBO"

But I guess it was because I typed in the word "bump" as well wasn't it?

same sort of thing happened to me Deetz and I lost 2 points the same day without even knowing that any of the 2 comments were wrong.

Also just helping fellow beyonders with their sales because I am sure a potential buyer would appreciate knowing when others have purchased from the seller and it went well.

Now I know and just don't post regardless of if it's helpful or not since I don't plan to buy the part and it's not my thread.

Its unfortunate that our new strict rules are affecting users who are in the marketplace to help. The trouble is, there are too many users in the marketplace commenting on items for sale they have absolutely no intention of buying.

The moderators were instructed to enforce the rules with a zero tolerance stance to clean up the marketplace. Perhaps in the future we can back it down a notch.
