I understand this, my ad got deleted for selling 3 "1-off" covers i fabbed and had sitting around ......

wholesale goods? I do one off work for select people to try and help people with custom applications - there is certainly no "wholesale goods" - those are the only 3 in exsistance.

Im not sure where i went wrong in selling my personal items - there is no business, i just have the opportunity to help the community with custom jazz.

is it okay to advertise stuff i have for sale / tell people i can help them if the have a difficult/custom application??

Also, if there is another sponsor that makes these and im stepping on toes, let me know.... (why wait 3 months to decide I was selling "wholesale goods?"

If you are creating anything with the intent of it being sold on beyond (or anywhere really) fyou're essentially a business. If you're using beyond to earn you money doing that, then you should be paying for advertising. I dont know who deleted your threads, but I'm willing to wager that was the mentality of whoever did. Private sales are more along the "I got a new ________ (bed, cell phone, camera, etc) and I don't need this one anymore."

finally someone....Not my intent at all, I have had these for over a year, just collecting dust. I figured someone can use them, Beyond being the most common place to find people that like custom jazz.
There is definately no business, although I will be glad to help anyone that needs something custom.........

I like when we see users who have a trade that helps benefit other useRs. Revhard and Jason Lange for welding, Mr. ET for automotive repair, Riceeater for CF parts , and gretz for CNC machining, although they are making some money off the forum they are offering a cheaper alternative to the members and also offer free advice on the board when questions do come up.
