Brand new 2003 Accord for $0 pay the dealership nothing and take over a new lease. He should be paying someone to take over his lease. No one will pay someone money to take over their lease when they don't technically own the car.

People are retarded. If you go to any dealership, drive a car off the lot, and make payments, you are still better off. Why pay a guy $1000 to get his used car. Like already mentioned, someone should be willing to pay YOU to take over their lease.

Well this is probably what happened.

The idiot probably put $1000-$5000 down on the lease to lower the paymenet. He is probably just trying to get some of that back.

if you were to go to the dealership today and pick up even the cheapest new accord coupe, it would cost you $500/month for 36 months. Put $1000 down, still $400.

I wouldn't pay him anything... I would just take it over and it isn't that bad of a deal.
