To OP (relating to sale of gas cards, I use a lot of gas): Are you located in Banff then? Or will you deliver on large purchases? And do you know how I can verify the cards are valid?

I set the price that way mainly to motivate people to buy more than one from me.
If you buy more than one, you save 10 dollars on 100 dollars's gas, I say that is not a bad deal.

I live in Banff, but I am willing to go to Calgary if I have a relatively big order/orders. So I will probably gather as many buyers as possible and deliver all them together.

how to verify balance? I think Esso station should be able to do that, we can meet there then.

If I was to make a guess I would assume to say that they were purchased via a stolen company card... sounds exactly like what happened with my dad's company trucks. People broke in at night, took gas cards, went to esso and racked up 3800 dollars in GC's around stores before the company finally realized hmm you think people are stealing something at 3am? in which they probably went on to sell them, otherwise I would see no need to sell 2500+ dollars in giftcards unless you for some reason no longer possessed a vehicle or found one that doesn't run on fuel?

It does seem suspicious. Car dealerships have large amount (500 dollars and up) cards mailed to them directly from Esso. Op may want to enlighten us on where he got these cards.

well i know pharmacist... and when she buys drugs for her store from her supplier when she buys so and so amount of drugs they send her 100 dollar gas cards.
and she has ALOT of gas cards cuz she doesn't use it for herself. and she gives them to me free and she gives it to other relatives... but i don't know i know that supplier just hands out gas cards to their customers to keep them....

this could be the same aspect?

Possible. However, I think if I were in the situation, I would explain eloquently how I obtained these cards, because of the volume of cards op has, it makes it very questionable and obvious that it should be addressed.

as well note that he said "24 left now" who knows how many he originally had... but the whole situation just seems to fishy to me, to find a situation not only where you accumulate that amount of esso GC's but as well not want them...
