Default Gas Mileage, what do you get?

Ok, so im just curious what some people are getting for gas mileage, mostly for hondas, but hey, throw it out there. I calculated 46 mpg and thats mostly hiway with some city, ie get off on peigan and take it to 72nd. here is my math

filled car full before the test, reset trip meter to 0
drove back and forth from crossfield to work, about 55k one way

today i filled the tank back up after 3 days, with a bit of driving around, it was at 300km, i fill it up all the time cuz my gas guage is fucked.

anyways, it took 16.30$, with gas at 96 centts/litre, lets say 16 litres

there is 3.7 litres in a us gallon, no? so lets round up to 4 litres in a us gallon, so 4 into 16 is 4, so i would say i used 4 gallons

    300km divided by 1.609 is 186.45 miles.

186.45 miles divided by 4 gallons is 46.6 MPG...am i wrong? anybody comparable. This is in a 89 crx si with a d15z7 engine, good running order

I heard a rumour that Saab 93's are the most fuel efficient cars in the universe. Maybe "someone" here can attest?

15mpg avg I'd say.. Which ain't bad for the boat I drive. I think thats right around the cross over 15mpg = 15l/100 or so..

I've gotten down to 6L/100KM once, which is about 39 US MPG.

Or in the case of the Imperial Gallon, 47MPG.

    Lol at bad math.

    Anyways:

1990 300ZX Twin Turbo. About 14 mpg or 17L/100km. All city mileage, mostly driven conservatively with the odd "spirited" pull from a light.

    Been running a tad rich.

My wife's maxima averages about 30 mpg. Its a 50 litre tank give or take, and she does 600+ km on a tank. pretty good for a 3.0L v6 and a 3100lb car
