Default Shipping Car To Another Province?

    Hey,

Can anyone help me out, with this. How do I go abouts shipping a car to another province from Calgary? I'm looking to ship the car from Calgary to Vancouver. Any idea how much it would cost and where I can have this done? Also, how long it would take for the vehicle to get to it's destination?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks

There are a ton of threads about this.

    Cost will be around $500.

Avoid these guys, they smash your car up then try to offer you half cause the car isn't brand new. Still trying to get a cent out of them and its been a 2 months.

Why don't you just drive it to Vancouver? Roads shouldn't be too bad yet...

Unless you are just shipping it to someone who has bought it.

I have used them several times without problems. They look over your car with you when you drop it off, and it has always come out fine on the other end.

They did look over my car before it left but there was some damage due to the transportation and it came out far from fine on the other end. Now they just continue to insult me with their low-ball offer for the repairs. They asked for 2 estimated and they are offering 1/3 of the cheapest estimate.

I would never use Hansen again.

Any of you guys ever deal with Keywest up in Airdrie for shipping a vehicle to another province? Are they good? Reliable?

I've used Hansens. amazing, no problems. They look over your car before and do a great job.

The chance of a car being damaged are very slim. You have to understand that Hansens is likely going to the rail carrier who in turn is doing their own investigation to determine what happened, so its reasonable to expect a delay in compensation.

I do understand that buy it's been 5 months and they refuse to make a reasonable offer. I'm sure for everyone whos car they don't damage they are good but god help you if they do damage your car in away ways. They are pretty much all pricks.
