    Default Ginger Beef Sunridge

I had a craving for ginger beef last night so I went over to Sunridge Mall to eat at The Ginger Beef. When I got there I found out they where closed. When did this happen? This sucks, now I will have to go all the way down to Willow Park to get my fix. Shitty!

I would ilke to know as well! They had the best Peking Duck in town where they carve the duck right in front of you. It's the largest serving I've seen in Calgary too, although it's the most expensive. But it's worth it

Nope, pretty sure Sunridge wouldn't renew their lease. The renovations they did before was obviously retarded leaving that empty hallway between Ginger Beef and Shoppers. I'm guessing they just want to redo that part of the mall.

I want to know if they moved or if they are closed forever.

True it is more convient. But food wise I'm always down to make the trek.

For example I live by crowfoot and I drive down to ghetto 17th just to eat a bowl of pho :p

We were trying to go there a month or two ago I can't remember exactly. There was a sign on the door that the tenants have not renewed their lease on a certain date. All the things inside the premises now belong to such and such company. Looks like the owners just got up and left and said fuck it!!

I heard that the renovations to SUnridge totally killed the walk by traffic to the restaurant. Its basically separated from the mall and it hurt the business bad.

    Bankruptcy.

From what I heard, Sunridge wanted to charge Ginger Beef for part of the mall renovations (I'm assuming in the form of a significant increase in the lease) and Ginger Beef refused.
