buy yourself a new cable for like $4 from monoprice, with digital the "quality" of the cable is irrelevant< either it works, or it doesn't there's no quality loss based on cables.

Monoprice for the win! Rigged an entire home theater system with stuff from there and spent only a quarter of what it would have cost me buying the same cables from a local store.

yeah just grab a cheapo hdmi cable. just like a USB cable, it is a digital cable and either works or wont at all. i used to work at best buy and we couldnt notice a difference between a $10(at cost) cable and a $80(at cost baller monster cable). this was on a 52inch 1080 tv with BDray. I just ordered a monoprice cable for mine but i am sure any other cable would work fine for short cable runs(under 10feet). i bought a 50feet monoprice cable for my friend's projector setup thinking it would save him hundreds but he simply sets them aside and buys monster cables for $500. i have 100ft runs in my basment with monoprice and never had a problem.

go to superstore and they have 1.6m for 9.99$ and 3m for 14.99$ there is no difference in HDMI cables just the name. believe me works just like a monster cable.
