Blackberry Storm - Telus

What are everyone's thoughts on the New Blackberry Storm that is going to be released exclusively to Telus? Does anyone know the exact date? I have heard both Nov 21st and Dec 8th. You think Telus would have left more time for Christmas shopping. The "click" screen should be interesting. Guess time will tell on how well the screen will hold up.

not sure on release date. but my pearl is on its last legs. im definately picking this one up. i originally wanted the bold. but it never came out for telus.

Should be released with rogers aswell

it's scheduled to be released on Telus first then Bell shortly after and possibly Rogers as well

yeah. other providers other then telus are supposed to get in a month or so later.

december 11th is the release date for calgary. i believe its a telus exclusive for 2 weeks then it will be released for bell

New data plans for Telus as well

The plethora of reduced rate plans have finally arrived in Canada - Bell with the Rollover, Telus with the new “All in One” $99 plan. And now TELUS is set to make our holidays better by dropping a few new Smartphone Bundle plans into the mix. Canada just keeps on getting better with our rates… they just keep on dropping!

There are 3 new smartphone plans available now, all get unlimited text and call display and voice mail 10. The promo looks to be available until December 31st, 2008. (Just in time for the BlackBerry Storm?)

Smartphone Bundle 20, Smartphone Bundle 30 and Smartphone Bundle 45.

20 (for $20/month) gets unlimited IM and email.
30 (for $30/month) gets 500mb, IM email and web.
45 (for $45/month) gets unlimited everything (web browsing, video streaming, IM, email).

The old personal email & IM will still exist. More info soon.

it was rumored to be scheduled for a november release but then it was pushed to dec 10th. apparently dec 10th is the release date for toronto and vancouver. we are supposed to receive it the day after. so far thats the only information i know. sorry i don't know the release date for rogers. i can ask my buddy and see if he knows.

i dont know how well this is going to work thou.. heard alot of stuff about the storm.. but cant seem to find any videos on the net about it at all..

they should release something so people know what the interface is going to be and how well it will flow.



but on the other hand..
telus and their new data plans...

actually the $45/month is ONLY the data plan, voice plan is extra.

im guessing about 399 or 499. but sometimes if you go in theyll let you re-negotiate your contract and you'll get it for cheaper

I have thought it would be more like $649.99 for a MTM and then drop from there. Maybe $199.99 for a 3 year contact.... Just my guess, I really have no idea. Trying to compare it to the launch of the world phone (8830)

Pretty good data plans. When I was selling Telus Mobility they didn't have as good of plans.

Doesn't beat my $15/month unlimited everything though!

Verizon has released their date for the Storm. November 24. I think Telus will Probably launch the Storm the second week of December after the Storm Rock Tour has concluded. December 11th is the last date for the Storm Rock Tour.

Cant wait to get my hands on this phone.
