The big thing is the 1996 BCNR33 Spec RB26DETT Engine swap. I picked her out when I lived in Japan a few years ago.
I had the engine swap done at Autoland Yamagata in Yamagata City, they're the best tuning shop in Yamagata Prefecture and are regarded as one of the best Skyline GT-R shops in all of Tohoku. Hot Version has a few of their R34's in some of their DVD's.
All the importation process was done by myself. All paper work is available.
