The only place that I know of is a restaurant called MUKU it's new and it's by the same owners of Globefish. It's located right besides globefish at 326 14th ave NW. The ramen is not bad but can be better especially coming from an authentic Japanese resturant owner

Yea, +1 for Muku. Another place that is OK is Shijiki on centre st/16th ave.

Best place... Vancouver at the end of Robson St.

Muku is awesome, their Chasu Miso is superb!

The only downside is their portion is kinda on the smaller side for most guys. I got extra ramen so I was stuffed, but the other guys were whining for Wendy's on the drive home afterward.

Muku is pretty good .. the one on centre street NE ( 15 ave? across the street from the chinese mall ) is not bad too ..

Actually, the noodle shop in Banff (next to macdonald) is good too ..

Again, heading west, drive for 9 hr is the way to go ..

Hibiki is good. They are located at 6, 630 - 1 Ave NE.
Shikiji is good too, I would go to either one of these place before Muku again.

i will never go back to shikiji ever again after what my friend has told me about their kitchen....

lets just say he learned how to make rotten chicken turn into something edible....why do you think they dump teriyaki sauce all over it?

and their soup has whatever they want in it....

NOt real ramen noodle is really good at misai, on 32nd ave, they have pork cutlet curry ramen by far the most flavorful one i've had.

    wat?

There used to be Cafe Tokyo (?) just off of Edmonton Trail. I'm not sure how authentic/good it was in comparison to other places, but it seemed pretty good.

of course cause they kill the moldy chicken with sake and salt.

Anyone been to Soba Ten (if that's what it's called) on 11th Ave SW? I actually found decent ramen at that Ice Bar Izakaya place on 16th and about about Edmonton Tr. This have this "house special" spicy one which is quite decent.
You have a couple of photos that are great... you must be very good at photoshop!

i agree that this place is good but we found the portions to be a bit small. even the girls were still hungry after eating there and they don't even eat much.
