mastadon, may not be exactly what the OP is looking for but amazing band that just recently is getting recognition.
Clutch, they are way more hard rock than metal, but there are alot of bullshit bands listed in this thread and clutch is one of my all time fav bands that most metal heads will appreciate.

Yeah, I downloaded it awhile back, haven't found it here yet.Originally posted by Darkane
Nice list there lad!
You got a copy of Kalmah's For the Revolution yet? I don't think it's sold in N/A yet. It's badass though, back to the higher singing with a mix of the death growl. More COB style keys too.
Yeah man, they rock.Originally posted by Vagabond142
How I have never heard of this band, I do not know. Listened to one song, instantly hooked. And they, for the love of all that is green and good, pronounce Ragnarok PROPERLY
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age."
-H.P. Lovecraft
This is to good to keep to myself, as selfish as I'd like to be. baahah..
Awesome fucking Death/Thrash

If the idea of Tool and Rage Against the Machine getting together, tuning lower than Meshuggah, and then grooving as hard as possible appeals to you, you might like this guy too

Jesus Christ.... that video is sweet. The guitars and drums are awesome. The dude has too much of a nu-metal sound, but man oh man. Wicked instrumentals.Originally posted by b_t

I agree, the music is sweet, not to crazy about the vocals.Originally posted by kerry

Hmm, guess this is their older stuff.. their new album released in 07 features a new lead singer and a different direction in the music.. bleh, now it sounds more like nu metal shit..

stuff like Dimmu Borgir and Children of Bodom.
Here's a few new ones for you Thrash fans:
SpeedKillHate:
Battered: This guys voice rocks. Good change from most styles.
Carnal Forge: These guys kind of push the thrash boundary.. Pretty quick stuff sometimes. But good

Yeah their new singer sucks and they went way further into the melodic direction.. they tuned even lower, so I was pumped for the new stuff, but ehh... Audio Injected Soul is the one album of theirs that is really good.Originally posted by ZEDGE

Unearth - NEVER seemed to dissapoint me at the 5+ event that I saw them at, always a higher level of stage presence than every other band at the shows they played.
Kataklysm - Pretty good live, really nice guys to talk to, they love their jager
Verbal Deception - Always loved their style of music and they're local, one of the times they played at mac hall they had a belly dancer up-front on stage dancing to one of the songs haha.
Gwar - I didn't know what to expect from them at first, they're WAY over the top, but as soon as they started spraying the fake blood I thought they were down-right amazing.
Most of your list isn't metal :\Originally posted by ekguy
