    Default Improving Wifi Signal

The computer in my basement has a Linksys PCI wireless adapter. I'm only getting 2 green bars for signal strength. The main router is in my room on the 3rd floor. Is there anyway I can improve the signal?

The computer faces a window, does that affect the signal strength?

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

If you have a compatible linksys router you can install dd-wrt firmware onto it and boost the xmit power to boost your wifi strength.
