Not yet. Last we heard from her she was going to take a mini-bus down to Phuket, and catch a plane from there to Hongkong.

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

Sounds like everyone is stuck at the military airport. Can't handle the volume.

Yeah, we didn't want her just sitting around waiting for some shit to go down, so we told her to get out of town and find another airport. Her plane and everything was booked before she left Bangkok, so I'm assuming she's on her way home now.

My Dad and Step Mom are currently stuck in Pattaya. They had planned to take a bus to Cambodia and hopefully find a flight back, but they've decided instead to stay put where they are. There flight was booked to come back home on Dec.7, but with everything that has been going on they've been trying to get home sooner.

As it stands right now, they have decided to just stay put where they are in Pattaya and in their words "So, here we are in Pattaya until further notice, it might be for a while."
I've been getting email updates from them and everything seems ok right now.

We're looking forward to seeing them home safely.

I hope they are safe... it looks like a few people died (2 Canadians and 1 Briton) in a car crash on their way to Phuket to catch a flight.

    Plus, the PM got ousted

Awesome, so now they've set precedent. Expect to see more of this kind of thing else where in the future.

I think the only thing saving them, were the tourists that were still hanging around the airport like morons, expecting it to all end quickly. Their (ex)-leader wouldn't risk an international incident with any tourists there.
