I would suggest a honeywell trusteam unit...they are a little more pricey but work excellent. i could install one for around $600 bucks or so, depending on if the price is still the same as last time i picked one up...

$3000 for 3.5T air conditioning unit installed and that should take care of the cooling for a 1700sq.ft home? How long is this deal good for? Also curious what the 'regular' price is.

Yes, this is a great deal. For a 3.5 Ton unit installed by a company like ARPI'S would cost you somewhere in the range of $4500-$5000

I am passing the great deals given by the suppliers at the end of the season. And yes...a 3.5 Ton Unit is good for a 1700 sq.ft home.
