Default thanksgiving/black friday in the US..

I know we have a few fellow americans on here..just wondering if they have any tips on what stores are open (like Target, malls etc..) Are open on thanksgiving and any tips for Black Friday shopping.

I am specifically headed to LA this weekend but any tips or tricks for other places like vegas etc..would be appreciated by others!

    Thanks!

nothing is open thanksgiving (tomorrow), stay home.

black friday = shop in the suburbs, if at all. deals aren't really that great. go at like 10am when all the crazies that lined up are done, and you can usually get whatever you want for a few hours yet.

I've been getting emails from Black Friday and some of the big stores are starting their sales early. Beats having to go to the stores and getting trampled over.

Maybe it's because we are just a little bit nicer, I don't know.
We do take it to another level, but it's not about who's nicer.
