You can also turn the menu bar on and off from the Quick Access Toolbar ( with New, Open, Save, Undo, etc. on it). On the right there is a button for a drop-down menu and close to the bottom is an option for Show Menu Bar

R154, you're a twat, i share all my stuff with people i know. There are masses of blocks/drawings/models across the internet in libraries and on forums. She wasn't asking for something complicated.
Thanks for this...I was doing an internet search for it before and most posts I saw just said it was gone with this version.

thanks...I agree with you. I also find that the program is getting really heavy. It works fine on my desktop computer but on my laptop it is a bit sluggish.

What do you guys charge for residential drafting? I might do a bit on the side for extra cash this Christmas.
If you get angry at my post please re-read as a joke or sarcasm.
Most guys I talk to are charging $50/hr for house plans, but it depends on the market you're in.Originally posted by Fly Fishin'

I can live with that or a bit less

just a quick update, Spartan finally responded they don't have any CAD drawings and only forwarded me a PDF. lol but it doesn't matter anyways, as the project is now put on hold so I don't need to model the ET CV now.
here is a link for other misc. 3D cad models of emerson products if anyone needs

its a quick download from their site in dwg.

^^ I thought Ptech was 5 CET? Making it 7 in total.
My boss is a RET. I tried explaining to him that things changed but he wouldn't listen.
Just apply for jobs anyways. If you feel your experience is relevant then they may be willing to make at an exception to the title.
When I was looking I applied for degree jobs... worst thing that is going to happen is say no. Maybe they'll change their mind or have a different job.
But CET is how things work now. Everyone demands education. I like the ASET structure personally, gives me something to work towards.
