Can’t believe how good it looks still. Like it was parked and forgotten about.

Wow, that thing is a time capsule.

I remember being in my buddy's 2 tone red and black coupe and pulling up beside you on macleod by south center many years ago. Both of us were drooling over that coupe and how clean it was. God you dont see these cars on the road hardly ever anymore either...

That was Mar's car, lots of photos in this thread of it changing throughout its lifetime. Hood flew up on the way to meet the rest of Silent Rage at the Deer Valley Shell station prior to roll in for Urban Dream (that was the show). Painter had only taped the hood latch on, not screwed it back in place and it flew up on Anderson.

    Ah good times
    Wait, as in THE Mar?

I'm probably the only person who gets any warm feelings from this pic. But it tickles me mightily.

That's because most of them were wrapped around telephone poles and the rest were left to waste away. Last summer I saw my old 1992 LX hatch being driven (I bought the car in 1997 and sold it in 2002) and followed the guy for quite a while until I could get his attention to talk to him. It still looked really nice but it had been in a garage for last 10 years. I think I've seen 3 or 4 fox body 5.0's in the last 4 years that looks to be in reasonable shape. I don't even see crappy ones any more.

I remember a member on here had a really nice bagged maroon fox body, I think his username was Madsella or something along the lines. Anyways from what I remember he ended up getting into a really bad car accident or something and never saw him post much since then. I haven't tried searching but he might even have an old build thread on here.

I really needed that comic relief tonight. That thread has a lot of banned people in it lol. I also like how he said he was on probation for B&E. Beyond isnt as fun as it used to be with characters. All we have is ZenOps now

Loved this car. You did it right.

If you want to see lots of Foxbodies these days, just go to any drag strip.

    Drag strip? What’s that?

Wish Calgary would build a new one.

    This City is so lame.

Great pics of a great car. I sold my notch back (red) 5.0L to a friend in Abbotsford who still has it, he put a built motor w/supercharger in it not long after he bought it from me in they mid 90s, and still has it along with 20+ other cars, at least.

If only I could find one like yours these days 80coupe, that was in such a condition, it'd be an insta buy.

No kidding…a place like Rimbey has a track (and it’s the best/second best hooking track in western Canada along with Mission) and yet Calgary has nothing.

It was for sale out of Sask in about 2014 and it still looked to be really clean. I was considering it but ended up just building something. I didn’t ever connect with the seller after to see where it went.

Its pretty wild the prices these cars are going for these days. I tried to snag a super clean 93' coupe off a guy and even offered him 25k CAD for it but still said no. Man wants 30k USD! and i guarentee somebody will buy it at that. I remember in the early 2000's you could get a super clean notch for 5k. Again why i miss the 2000s...
