Do you remember when racing stripes were in style?

When you were pimp if you had clear taillights?

Did you ever paint your interior white?

Does R.S. Akimoto ring a bell to you?

Did you ever shop at Autozeal? RPM Racing?

If it doesn't, you must be pretty new to the scene.

Actually I think it means you are behind the times. That car belongs in the 90s/early 2000s. The 90s chicken wire, monster tach and Konig wheels are the tell tale signs.

That Del Sol is modded in the same style as all the other ones, I think it just means youre a ricer. You'll be thinking the same thing about your car now in about 10 years. This is called evolution.

I don't think so brother. Natural Selection: mine will be just as baller in 10 years and there will be an entire species of cars just like it.

Did your magic eight ball tell you "baller" will be cool in 10 years? Is pretending to be baller even cool now?

OMG.. thats awesome... wow does that ever bring back memories. I remember personally working on a bunch of those cars. haha the hot summer days rolling with Spyderman in his baby blue eclipse and thinking there is no way a car could get any better than that. Thanks for posting. I have some pics that date back to the late 90s need to try and find those.

Ha ha! I'm the farthest thing from a ricer. If you saw my car you'd understand. I like the clean look. I don't normally like the 'ricer' look but I think the mods to the Del Sol don't look as bad because of the shape of the car.

    and that's what I'm saying...
Clean might not be the "in" thing in 10 years. 10 years from now people might think clean just = OEM, what were they thinking? In fact a lot of people think that now.

I was being sarcastic. It was a play on your 'evolution' comment.

Whenever one of these older generation cars come on sale, people flame it like no tomorrow, but in fact, it was the "IN" thing back then..

the clearcoat started to peel on them, so Tunerworks were kind enough to give me a refund on them for warranty and I used the store credit towards the Gram Lights that were on the car afterwards.
