BRONX (WABC) -- A teenager in the Bronx was slashed ear-to-ear Wednesday after he put his bookbag on a stranger's BMW.
Police say the man snapped when the 16-year-old placed the bookbag on his car.
The brutal attack happened in broad daylight.
Police say Gabriel Quinones was at a bus stop right in front of PS 160, on his way to school, when he decided he needed something out of his bag.

Quinones placed the bookbag on the hood of the gray BMW X5. That's when police say the driver of that BMW got out, exchanged words with the teen, and then stabbed the victim multiple times in the chest and face.
Quinones was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center, where he listed in critical condition.
A witness who saw the incident took down the license plate and alerted police.
Police identified the suspect as 29-year-old Kwame

Kwame from the Bronx? Sounds like an upstanding white member of the community. He probably worked very hard to purchase that bmw x5, so its understandable as to why he didn't take kindly to having a school bag left on his hood. Not Guilty

I'm with you, stabbing is a bit much, but honestly was the cement floor not good enough for yer bag? Or he's too old that he had back problems and couldn't bend over...

How is anyone sure that he stabbed the kid soley on the fact that he put anything on his car. The story states that they exchanged words. Most likely the kid was stabbed for saying something stupid to him afterwards. People are crazy these days i would have just said sorry and walked away.

People have been stabbed and shot for doing less then that.

Suspect Sought in Teen's Stabbing

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are looking for a man who they say stabbed a 16-year-old boy near a bus stop in the Bronx.

Police are looking for 35-year-old Kwame Ferguson in the attack which happened Wednesday morning on Hutchinson River Parkway in Throgs Neck.

Police believe Ferguson jumped out of his BMW and argued with Gabriel Quinones who apparently put his bookbag on the hood of his luxury sedan. Police say when Ferguson plunged a knife in Quinones' chest and slashed him across the face when the teen talked back to him.

Quinones was taken to Jacobi Medical Center with stab wounds to the head and chest. He is list in critical but stable condition.

Police say Ferguson was last seen wearing a black jacket and blue jeans. He is about 5-feet 10-inches tall and weighs around 180 pounds.
