Default FS: Asus 1000 White Netbook

"It's been used rarely, probably under 20 hours and I have the original box and laptop case.

Reason why I'm selling is because I'll be doing work that requires spreadsheet modeling with excel and access over the next year, so it wouldn't be efficient for me, but it's a great laptop. It's amazing if you're looking to carry it around traveling, or basic school purposes, or even a Christmas gift . "

So the quoted message I have above was before in December when I was trying to sell this eee PC. I sent it in to Asus last week because 1/3rd of the screen was darker than the rest, and the touchpad was wobbly. Under RMA, they replaced the screen completely and the touchpad as well, they also reformated the solid state drive so it's back to linux, and they made sure everything is working well. So it's basically a brand new model! I turned it on to make sure it worked and have all the paperwork to prove that the parts were replaced under RMA etc.

Considering all the prices in memory express, and the laptop models (They don't have my model there since I bought this from newegg for about $600), the Asus EEE PC 901 is worse than my laptop and priced at $479.99. Those models have a 20GB SSD with linux, while mine is a 40GB SSD with linux. Newegg has my laptop priced at $495.99, plus shipping and handling. Not to mention both these laptops I've quoted are only 1GB of RAM, while upgraded my RAM to 2.

Hardware specifications and current price found on the above link.

I'll let this go for $350 , hit me up with a PM.

    2GB Ram = $40
    Windows XP = $110

So bump for a good deal - $150 savings.

It was bought in September/October. Condition is excellent, as it just came back from ASUS as well with brand new parts etc. I'll post pictures soon.

What is the different between yours and 1000HE? I am thinking to buy one.
