It's amazing what this type of weather can bring out in people. It's brings out the best and the worst. On one side you have the amazing nice people going the extra mile and helping people in need. On the other you have the jackasses screaming by, spraying snow, and yelling at you like you PLANNED to get stuck.

Luckily tonight I was witness to ~8 of the amazing people, most of which was of course Aldrich (CivicDXR) and then all the people who stopped to help.

I love this weather, makes me all happy and warm inside. hahah

Its all good... my work was 2 minutes away (which with the traffic turned into 20), so I figured I could at least try to help...

Reminds me of another year when we had a huge snow dump. Everyone was getting stuck in our cul de sac, including my mom. We were out helping her try to get the van out. The neighbors opened their garage and when they saw us stuck, they closed it right back and tried to wait it out so they wouldn't have to help us. We took so long that they gave up waiting and tried leaving and got stuck themselves Needless to say we didn't bother going back to help them after we got out (but helped the other neighbors that returned the gesture).

Oh man, I feel for you. I can't go up some hills because it's just too slippery and the snow is packed. My car is a tad lowered and I'm a pretty good shovel. It hurts to hear my underbody getting raped by hard snow =(

If I had seen this sooner I'd have come help. I'm just a couple blocks away. Was busy playing lost odyssey instead of helping out fellow beyonders, sorry

I have no problem in this weather... Ok that's a lie... but I can make it thru near anything... and I'm not gonna lie, I leave like 8 car lengths, and I go like 20 (residential). Yea... slow and steady!

Some random stopped to give me a boost last weekend. I was kind of standing there, hood open, booster cables in hand, sad dejected look on my face and she came to my rescue.

It is funny watching people who don't plan ahead, it's not like this "weather" thing is that big of a secret, or doesn't happen every year. I've got FWD and decent all seasons and have no problems. If you have summers, bald tires, a big useless bumper or lowered, stay home on days like this.

// except you. you're great. just venting in general.

I've always wondered what you do at the U?

I live on Rez, so I see your truck almost everyday walking to school and what not.

If it wasn't for the fact that the city was a parking lot yesterday I was thinking of hitting the roads to randomly help people. My truck was loving the weather yesterday. Nothing like leaving a lighted intersection to look back and half the vehicles are still spinning waiting to move off the line.

    ^^

welcome to the life of a lowered prelude. I have really good winters, but it doesnt make a difference when the car sits a few inches off the ground.

You can drive with lowered winter cars but it hurts hearing the snow and rocks hit your underbody. When the snow is thick and high, it doesn't help when your body kit is 2 inches from the ground =(
