you dont need sub control for subs to work, u just need rcas to goto amp, so amp has signal, then sends to sub. If your running an stock cd player, which i doubt ur using, some amps u can run signals from ur rear speakers.

Just plug in ur rcas, u wnt have sub control, so ur gonna hafta do it manually on amp. If you have a cheap deck, prolly just 1 preout, just plug into that.

I hope this somewhat answers ur question i dont fully understand ur question anyways.

well i'm not sure but are you even running an amp? it sounds like you are trying to run a sub off of a deck.

if you are running an amp does anything work? is the amp even turning on? if not check that you connected the remote wire. once you know the amp is on for sure then check to see if the rca are connected and the fade is set on the deck depending on how you wired the sub to the amp.

if you aren't running an amp. go buy one.

i have no sub control on my deck either, you need a good quality rca, it plug in on the back of the deck and the amp, go and get one, and then have them istall it for like 15 bucks

The signal from your deck will be full range. This isn't the most optimal to send to your sub because it can't play anything above 100Hz. You will need to use a crossover to cut out the mid and highs. Depending on your system, you may have a built in crossover on your deck or amp. If not, you can get a passive one for cheap and plug it inline.

Also, your signal coming from your deck may already be amplified. You will probably need to hook up a line level attenuator before sending it to your amp.
