How are these subs? Give me a lil more info.

Compared to the 400watt Rockford HE2s?

since i've owned both subs i'll give you some insight. alpine type-s sounds decent. good sq/spl. also what i found was alpine subs are underrated. i put more than 500w rms through one of these subs and it didn't blow. lol. good bang for buck sub.

the HE2 sounds a bit louder with the same amount of power. bass is a bit deeper. little less SQ and a bit more spl.

Audi Kid i can hook these subs to my car if you want to show anyone they work or whatever... let me know....

Actually, ANY decent quality sub should be able to handle more power than they're rated.

I like my Alpine Type S, mind you, I'm not huge into stereos at all. It does the job fine for me...
