I have two that I have used. The first one isnt 100% from scratch, but still pretty good.

    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon of butter or margarine
one jar of Alfredo Classic Pasta Sauce
    1/4 cup of white wine
1 pound of fresh or frozen shrimp, peeled and deveined (change this to different types of seafood)
12 ounces linguine, cooked and drained
2 tablespoons of minced fresh basil

In a medium saucepan, lightly sauté onion and garlic in butter. Add Alfredo sauce and wine; simmer gently until heated through. Meanwhile, cook shrimp in garlic butter, in a frying pan just until shrimp turn pink, about 2 minutes. Drain. Spoon sauce over hot pasta; toss to coat well. Spoon shrimp over pasta
(I throw the seafood into the pasta sauce and I drain the noodles and throw them in there too. Let it cook together for a few more min)

    ^This one is super simple.

I have anther one that is from scratch and is really good too.

    1 medium onion, minced
    1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
    1/2 cup all-purpose flour
    1 cup hot heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan (Use good Parmesan cheese)
    1 pound penne pasta
Salt and white pepper (Kosher or Sea Salt is best)
    Directions
Bring a pot of water to boil for the pasta.

For the sauce, melt butter in a saucepan which will be large enough to accommodate the pound of cooked pasta, and saute onion until it becomes translucent. Mix in the flour to make a roux. Gradually add cream and allow thickening over low heat. Remove from heat and whisk in Parmesan.

Boil the pasta until al dente and drain. Add the cooked pasta to the pan containing the sauce and fold to coat pasta. Season with salt and pepper, as needed

^This one is just the sauce and pasta. Cook the seafood seperate and add it in at the end (in a garlic butter sauce)
