Exactly - everyone seems to ignore the syllabus, but if you concentrate on the topics outlined on the syllabus you will be in good shape
There's a great pdf book out there now at www.ppehq.com .
I spent just under $40 and didn't buy or read the APEGA books. Saved a whack load of time, passed the exam no probs, good quality notes.

I used the book at www.ppehq.com also. Cheap for the amount of reading it saved me. I wrote in October and am confident I did well. I studied roughly a couple hours each night for two nights.Originally posted by Flippper

The PDF linked in this post ^, is that still the latest/best study material or is that not of much help for the 2013 exam?Originally posted by chaser82
APEGGA PDF - 4Shared
FYI as of October 1st, 2013 anyone going for their C.E.T. also writes the same exam.
It's still relevant, but focuses too heavily on intellectual property stuff and lacks in some other areas. I don't even remember any IP questions in last month's exam.Originally posted by 94boosted

Look carefully at the syllabus as that really tells you what areas you need to focus on.

Oh the irony that this area gets such a tiny weighting here. In the real life profession it is often a key source of the problems a typical project encounters.Originally posted by Disoblige
