    December 2008’s Top 10 Best-Selling Cars

    Ford F-Series: 41,580
    Chevy Silverado: 33,340
    Toyota Camry: 25,275
    Honda Accord: 22,348
    Toyota Corolla: 22,129

Considering the Ram, Silverado and F150 (trucks, not SUVs) were among the top selling cars from the big 3 in 2008, trying to get them to reduce truck sales and selling more econoboxes doesn't sound like good business to me.

I am surprised to see the Altima and the Impala on there though. Didn't think they sold that many of those.

Full Size SUV's get lumped in with trucks and that's were there is the most slow down in sales. There will always be a big market for Pickup Trucks for business & industrial use as well as redneck transit.

Just because it's a truck doesn't make the driver a redneck- with that said- the 2009 Ram 1500 puts a lot of creature comforts back into the truck, but still maintains all of its workhorse characteristics- wouldn't be surprised to see it stay on the list in '09

The only one I find mildly surprising is the Impala, I don't see too many of those around.

Trucks are obviously going to be on there for fleet vehicle purposes.

Impala also fleet. Rental, police, security companies, etc... It's the same reason why the Taurus remained on the list for so long. Lots of fleet sales. Otherwise who the fuck buys an Impala?
You have a couple of photos that are great... you must be very good at photoshop!
