I have to say.... the ending to Chapter 9 was freakin EPIC. Totally cemented the "this is Final Fantasy" thought in my head

I also loved how you had to paradigm juggle in that fight

So I recently started chapter 12 and I guess you can go back to gran pulse at the end of the chapter. My question is: Where do I go to find neochu to get the growth egg? I have death now so I think I can take him out farely easy.

cei'th stone location: oerba - deserted schoolhouse (roof)
mark location: archylte steppe - aggra's pasture, you need a chocobo to get here. it's by the ring of cei'th stones.

you will have a difficult time with this mark. i did it in chapter 11 with a maxed out crystalium and it took me 10 minutes of battling after the neochu died. the death spell has less than a 5% success rate, so if you're relying on that be prepared for lots of restarting.

FML I don't think I activated mission 55 when I left oerba and now I am in chapter 12.

you can go back during chapter 13 and it's more beneficial anyways. you fight these monsters before reaching the final boss and they're worth 32,000cp. they respawn fast so you can easily max out all jobs and bank 999,999cp in less than a hour w/ growth egg.

Yeah but hopefully I activated cieth stone 28 so I can teleport there rather thanwalking lol. I'm trying to find out if I did activate it but stupid mount royal has horribly slow internet

So I finished 12 and moved onto 13 and then went ahead and found neochu. He took a hell of a long time to beat with countless retrys. On one try I got death to work on the 3rd try and then took another 10-15 to kill the little minion bastards. I used vanille (sab), snow (sent), and hope (med). Best combo I could find.

Time to get some cp points and then off to beat this game!

My favorite makeup (I'm only in chapter 10 right now) is Vanille (med), Lightning (rav), Yun Fang (com). Then again, I haven't really come across a fight where having a tank is absolutely necessary

Lol went back to gran pulse with growth egg and I can farm 2.3 million cp an hour haha

Growth egg can be had after you beat the boss for chapter 12. You have to activate mission 55 while you are there and then you can find the mark in gran pulse. You will need a chocobo to get there though.

2x CP is awesome! lol I'm gonna farm till I'm maxed then go find some turtles to beat up on.

My gf asked me why I was still playing even though I beat the game. Girls.. haha

I think mission 55 only gets activated after you've done a certain mission. Cuz I didn't do any missions while I was in chapter 11 other than the ones on the way (thank god i did the teleport ones), the first thing i did after beating the game was to try and get mission 55 but it wasn't activated.

Mission 55 is wrecking me.
Gonna have to farm Gran Pulse for a while before attempting it again. Those little buggers keep canceling my actions

FUCK ME was Raines a hard fight XD Took me a fair few tries :P I used Fang (com/sab), Sazh (rav/syn), and Vanille (med/rav) and was paradigm shifting like a madman to keep raines debuffed and my party buffed XD

the first time around I noticed I was paradigm shifting a hell lot as well. The second time was a breeze when I put snow (sen),fang (com) and hope (med/syn). He only attacked snow pretty much the entire time.

I already went through Oerba and smacked Barthandalus for the second time in the nuts, I just didn't take the shuttle up to Cocoon. For some reason, the second fight (Oerba Bart) was WAY easier than Chapter 9 (Airship Bart) o_O
