headlights
I'd like to own one of these but in LHD. Apparently some European countries did get them in this format. The question is how rare were they and would it be viable to source one from there. Anyone know of reputable European importers who could help?

I thought twin scroll referred to the exhaust side...
Dont mean to hijack but i can't wait till the S15s are legal to import.
ive loved them since ive set my eyes on them.
i won't care for that car if its RHD either its just to sexy
I'll hold off till the R34's are legal.
Not a fan of the styling on this gen.

You've gotta wait till 2014 for the first R34 and that's just way too far in the future for me.Originally posted by Eleanor

Hopefully I could bring one of these in for the summer
it wont be legal though^^ you sneaky guy
5 years is short to wait for the r34
By then it will look and feel incredibly dated just like the r32's do now and you will have new compact cars like MS3's that will be able to lap it on a track.Originally posted by GQBalla

^^true
doesn't matter to me though
Screw the Celica, drop this 2" and throw some 19's on that bitch!
can somone buy a JDM one and crash it? then i could take advantage of a part out! i would pull the engine and the rear diff out of the JDM one and swap it to my USDM celica. The second red celica isnt a GT-4, its replica (2wd)
the headlights can be changed with with projector style ones which are a farcry in looks. There is a guy named Tuffy on the celica forums that is pushing out over 600hp and is around the 10second mark on the 1/4mile. If anyone could get a WRC one, that would be sick. they come factory with water injection and a intercooler spray bar. all you have to do is install some relays and switches to get them working.
if i had the money, i would rep one without a hitch. I would find a blown up celica in the states and convert the GT-4 to a left hand drive.
this sucks! my car wont be a rare sight anymore. the only reason i like my car is because its not seen everyday like a integra. now jdms one will be b.tter looking and will be much faster/

More excited for the R33 GT-R. There's a year round daily driver with some juice! And more interior room than a R32

$5,500?? If I stay in Calgary past the summer...count me in.Originally posted by G-Man127
Hey guys,
I bring in cars for a living now. And I see these quite frequently.
My broker in Japan could hold onto them until they're legal in Feb and then ship them out for you just to gaurentee they'll make it in the country.
They range from about 5500 Landed and up I think, so pretty reasonable for what you're getting!

These things all "right hand drive"?
I would imagine a 5500 car be a poor condition ST205 needing a lot more work after getting here.
A good condition one and you're looking at 12,000 after all's said and done.
As for the spray bar on the WRC model
There's gonna be quite a bit of things to replace to get it running. cuz the component's been sitting idle for 15 years. It should still work, but you've gotta work for it.
RHD if it's from Japan
There are some LHD from Europe but I have no idea how common they are.
graham said it best:
$5500 is really cheap...but you get what you pay for!
LHD models would be pretty rare I would imagine, best bet is to check Germany and some other EU countries. Then to ship that here is another headache.
The price of RHD's isn't that high anymore.Originally posted by Artega

You should be able to find nice ST205 Celica for $8 - $9K.
$12K should net you a near perfect one if it's RHD.
meh,
