Default can anyone recommend a good beard trimmer?

i have a beard but like to keep it neat and tidy. i had a cheap ($25?) cobra beard trimmer, but the damn thing broke the other day so I need another one.

]can anyone recommend a good brand/model? i mean i could just go to the store and buy an expensive one, but thought i'd ask on here first cause i always seem to get good advice from you guys.

I was actually lookin for the bikini trim one as a joke, but this actually falls within your request parameters. I've never tried it.

Personally I just some $20 hair clippers with guard for the goatee.

yea, i have hair clippers, but like a proper beard & mustache trimmer cause it's smaller and more maneuverable, and the guards are the right size instead of 3/4" hjaja

price range? shit, i dunno... whatever is better than the cheap Cobra I had ($25+). price really isn't a concern, assuming beard trimmers don't cost $5000

I got my fiance this for Christmas.

It doesn't need oiling, and it vacuums up the majority of the hairs while you're trimming. Any hairs that are missed usually fall straight into the sink for easy clean up. The trimmer is about as noisy as an electric toothbrush.

The only downside with it so far is that it needs to be charged before you use it. You can't just plug it into the wall and use it.

The company, Mercury Shaver Centre is great. They didn't charge my card until the product was shipped and it came quickly and in good condition. They're Canadian too, if that makes any difference to you.

Well, maybe I didn't describe it well enough. As it's trimming the beard, it sucks up the cut hairs immediately and collects it into that black container making it easy to dump in the garbage when you're done. Or if you're like my fiance and you just leave the hairs all over the sink, it's something I don't have to deal with anymore.

so what you're telling me is that the beard trimmer with a vacuum is really a bowling ball that says "Homer."

This thing rocks, I got sucked in by the gimmicks but it's actually pretty awesome. My last one was such a nightmare. Got mine at Wal-mart for $50. It'll also trim your balls like nobody's business.

Oh yes. All of them are.

It works out most of the time. I'd like to think my gifts take a lot of thought as to what we would both appreciate.

I got this little beauty off of EBAY and it works great. It has a variable head for different lengths and also has a 2-foil attachment if you need a quick trim.
