Meh it's not a race thing... their skin color or eye shape doesn't make them want to get involved in drug dealing.

More of a social/cultural deal... exposure and access to the wrong people - temptation to make bad choices, etc. Not to excuse them of course, ultimately it was their decision to become involved in this.

'• Items used to convert powder cocaine to crack
    cocaine'

why can't they just say arm & hammer baking soda

and 'cocaine conversion labs', unless they mean turning it into crack or cutting it, i didnt know coca plant grow ops were on the rise.

Lots of people who come to Canada may take a western name so it's easy for people to talk to them - but legally it will not be part of their name. I am assuming that when they issue these reports, they are using legal names and not what they are known by.

Because some guy said deport them, but most asian immigrants that move here recently do not have english names like those, usually meaning they were born here. Sometimes they change their names after moving here but most don't unless they've been here for a while.

Jarome Arthur-Leigh Adekunle Tig Junior Elvis Iginla (born July 1, 1977, in Edmonton, Alberta)

But yeah, I've got a friend whose entire family here are recent immigrants (ie. none of them were born here) they all go by a variety of different names that aren't necessarily their birth names but may be a nickname they acquired as a kid in their home country or a Canadian name they acquired over here. They have various pieces of documentation and bills all registered under different names... bit of a mess sometimes, it's almost like they have multiple identities...

For example - and don't ask me how this happened or is possible - my friend's mom has a different name on her passport than the one on her driver's licence...
