Will the Marlins be the Cindrella team of 2003? Or will the Cubs end their 95 year drought? What about the BoSox and the curse of the Bambino?

Looks like the Yankees are going to win or else their payroll will exceed $200million U.S for next year!!!

I hate the Red Sox; they got Martinez, I wish there were some way that Expos could have kept him.
I fucking hate the Yankees; they're right down there with the Lakers, all they do is try to buy championships.
Marlins won't beat the Cubs, Wood is just too good of a pitcher, and I think Sammy is due for a breakout series.

Curious how the lakers buy championships? there is a salary cap in basketball, granted its a soft cap so they try to promote players staying with a team. But there is still a cap. Its not the lakers buying a championship, Its players rideing Shaqs coattails too a championship,if anything.

As for the postseason, Red Sox vs. Yankees should be a good series. Cubs I think have too much pitching with Prior and Wood(they are dominate) for the marlins, but marlins are good. played alot of big games at the end of the year so cant count them out.

Yankees vs Cubs would be a good W.S.
Red Sox vs Cubs would be good for baseball also(one will finally win another championship)

Dunno if the marlins in the WS would be the best for rateings but would be a good story.

IT's so funny cause I was hoping one of my 3 teams would make it:

Phillies: Wildcard contenders... great pitching but feel apart
Dodgers: Wildcard contenders...great hitting but screwed up

GIANTS: Made it, I thought it was destiny! Nooo... oh well..

I love Pedro Martinez, the guy is awesome.

Pedro 7innings 4 runs,didnt have his great stuff. but still pitched well. Clemens 6innings 2 runs. Was a great game, didnt think it could live up too all the hype, leading upto the game. But It far exceeded the hype. Alot happened and it was memorable.

The two games yesterday where awesome!

Too bad the Cubs got eliminated. The 3 run homer run by pitcher Kerry Woods in the 2nd (?) was awesome!!

The NY - Bo Sox game was great too... both games keep me from a bit of studying... haha

I hope Pedro owns the Yankee line up tonight lol!

The Cubs fan who caught that ball, ruining the Cubs World Series bid issued an apology! hahah it was funny watching him get escorted with security out of the stadium... and image all the harashing that guy got till the end of the game...

One thing about that Cubs' fan is that the Governer of Fla offered him an all-expenses paid, 3 month stay in some resort in Fla if it gets too bad in Chi... but I honestly can't blame the guy... yeah he interefered with it, but what about Gonzalez' bobbling of the grounder that COULD have been an inning-ending DP...

Sucks for the Cubs, I guess the curse of the goat lives on in Wrigley!!!

Cubs been saying "wait until next year" for over 55 years now...BoSox can at least say they were in the World Series within the last 20 years.

So disappointing. Would have loved to have seen the Cubs and Sox in the World Series.

Shit...woulda loved to have seen any team other than the Yankees in the World Series.

Think the Cubs know that heartbreaking feeling to lose when they were soooooo close....next year....the Cubs will be there.
