When do Vistek/The Camera Store have their sales?

Does Vistek or The Camera Store have annual or semi-annual sales? If so, does anyone know when these are?

Vistek has a lot of random "sales" featuring prices hundreds more than The Camera Store's everyday prices. Vistek is only good for price matching TCS when TCS is out of stock.

I just check the TCS website regularily and they post their sales/clearance on the front page, I don't know of any annual sales that either store does. Camera bodies are generally replaced every ~2 years, and lenses much longer, so its not like they need to make room for next year's models all of the time.

Awesome, I've never heard of the Camera Store until now. Thanks for the heads up. My dad is looking at buying the Nikon D90 and asked me to help him look around for some good deals. It is cheaper at the Camera Store.

I am looking to get the D90 as well and was hoping that one of them would drop it down to $999 again, like Vistek did after Christmas.

The flyer had some other prices for D90 kits too, if you want to get an idea of their sale price on body + lens.

Vistek is pretty good, especially the downtown location. They have price matched for me before even when I told them the competing store (TCS, of course) didn't have it in stock. I just told them, they didn't even verify. I've done this twice.

Just wanted to post that I got my D90 body from Futureshop today. They price matched Aden Camera who is currently selling it for $999.99 (see link below).

Futureshop didn't give me the additional 10% of the difference, but they also didn't factor in shipping to Calgary (Aden Camera is located in Toronto and shipping would cost around $50), so I still came out ahead.
