ImPark Ticket

I just got a ticket from Impark and yes it is my fault but what I wanted to know is if I dont pay the ticket can they put this on my registration so that I cant register my car for next year, basically are they the same as not paying a city parking ticket or can I just forget about it as its $45 to pay for it so just want to make sure

Werd for $40 bucks they won't. But last time they sent me to collections I had 7 tickets unpaid.

Didn't impark get banned from access to the alberta registry database because their collection agency was calling people at 1 in the morning?

don't think so ^^ maybe something recently happened because last year a letter from the came to my house.

I'm pretty sure they can't throw anything on your credit report without a judgment, and I can't imagine they'll bother for $40.

But in the future, the easy option when you get an impark ticket is to wait 5 minutes for somebody to come out to their car, and ask them for their parking pass, then mail it to impark along with a copy of the ticket, tell them it slipped off the dash. Or if the ticket is with 15 minutes or so of the time you get to your car, buy a parking pass and mail it in to them with the ticket, explain you had to go and find change. They'll drop it.
