    Default Calgary Police run in.

Background on prior to being pulled over: Crusing with 5 other cars, all doing the legal speed limit, the cop jumps the median, dodges between 5 other cars behind my friend then proceeds to write 4 tickets for not having reflectors on the car. There was no moving violation tickets. You can clearly see the officer handing the tickets to my friend Kurt when Kurt grabbed the tickets out of his hand. Then the cop explodes! Kurt was driving a minty 92 Skyline GTS. I know Kurt was being alittle short with the cop, but he didn't ask for how much the cop freaked.

    Wait till 3:30

Something was telling me it would be a good idea to record it on my phone! So i held the phone by my leg and recorded away.

    Wow,

I'm definately not taking any sides on this matter, cause your friend is driving a vehicle that has infractions. However, no cop has any right to call a person names, especially for a traffic offense.

    interesting...

Cop was trying to be polite, reasonable and was doing your buddy a favor.

In response, your buddy was a dick. Cop said it like it was... your friend did sound like a cocky little shit around the time he grabbed the ticket. And basically confirmed the stereotypes cops have about the type of people driving these cars - good job.

Funny how your friend turned into a little bitch after the cop went off on him - I Lol'd. I bet the cop got a kick out of that as well.

In my runs ins with the police, being polite and respectful went a long way.

"I'm disgruntled for getting tickets for things I mostly didn't know about."

    Yeah, great excuse...

that's pretty crazy... but to be fair did your buddy's vehicle comply with the AB traffic safety act?

If your (friend's) RHD didn't have them reflectors are you (him) "surprise" to get a ticket then.

^werd, he deserved that for sure. Cop was letting him go easy, even explained how he could get out of them.

Not sure if he's on Beyond or not but I'd suggest reading these threads:

    http://forums.beyond.ca/st/122551/ve...wers-are-here/
^Info in this thread talks about his lighting issues which he "didn't know about".

    http://forums.beyond.ca/st/248730/wh...lled-you-over/
^Info in this thread talks about what to say/not say when pulled over. Saying you are "disgruntled because you got tickets for something you didn't know about" = no no.

The cop asked for the drivers license a second time and the driver asked "why??". WTF???

Your buddy's a retard man. Cop was obviously giving him a break, explaining how he can have the tickets thrown out if he rectifies his illegal car, and your friend gives him attitude?

You're buddy is an idiot, I have been pulled over a million times and when I get nailed for stupid shit like that, I always keep my cool and try to be nice when the officer is always a huge dick...

Why ask for it when you've already been let off?

when I was young I was usually a dick to cops as well, One time i got asked for license and reg at a checkstop when i asked the cop why he told me my plate was dirty. When he went to run my information I got out, stared at him licked my thumb and cleaned of the sticker on my plate. I got a lecture outta that but no tickets. I used to be cocky and would end up with multiple tickets. smile be polite and you will have no problems in the future

It kinda proves what i tried telling my buddy too though. When you are young a cop will target you more than someone older. Your buddy was kinda a dick too and you taped it because you figured something would happen if you werent filming would he have acted the same way??

    HAHAHA. Owned.
Some people are funny. They spend money they don't have, to buy things they don't need, to impress people they don't like.
