why does the basement hallway in mac hall always smell like dank nuggets?

does anyone else notice it smells like someone is puffing some dank weed in that hallway? it's most obvious by the student copy centre and that used bookstore. it's been like that since they first built that hallway. what could create that nugget smell besides nuggets, and why has it persisted for like 5 years?

Yeah that hallway STANKS of Subway. Walking through there will get the smell into your clothes.

the worst is social science basement.
It smells like they cloned the smell of my gym bag, then spread it everywhere.

that "new" engineering building near the construction is always pretty stale. Its like a warm slap in the face.

Yea i hate that subway smell by the cove. It's worse than any other subway I've ever been to. And if you stay for a few minutes, it sticks to your clothing

I'll tell you what stinks:

- Any of the washrooms in cragie hall - haven't been cleaned since the 70s I reckon.

- Any of the trailers (cough cough trailer B) while some jackass stands and smokes right below the air intake

- The northeast stairwell of the art parkade for obvious reasons

Is it just me, or when you piss in those urinals there is some chemical reaction that releases some really noxious gas? Nasty shit, too bad its the closest to the Art Parkade.

Best bathrooms I have seen at the U of C are in the upper floors of the education building, just not a lot of use up there.

I cant believe the money they are spending on that stupid digital library and international res when most of the science buildings are the epitome of 70's design, and half the other buildings are basically falling apart... U of C needs an overhaul and some serious maintenance.

If it makes you feel better, the University upgraded the paper towel dispensers at Rez but not the whole bathroom.
