im 5'4 and i enjoy a nice 450, so you may need to look into a 1300 busa or something. good first bike. Baptism by fire. dead that is.

Engine size has nothing to do with the physical size of the bike. Busa's actually sit pretty low for example...

Just go to a shop and sit on everything and find what YOU think feels comfortable.

My busa sits lower than my buddies GSXR 750. Go sit on some bikes.

go sit and imagin urself on it and feel the power between ur croch when u ride it. if not satisfied with the feel, go to another.

also go ask the dealers, they might try to get u to buy the most expensive thing there but asking around wont hurt u a bit.

    it's just liek car shopping.

i've never posted in the bike section but I got a question that's opposite:

I like bikes but have never considered getting into the sport because I am afraid I might be too short. I stand like mebbe 5'2"ish and I really would liek to get a bike but I'm afraid I don't fit any (they look all freakishly huge)...
are there any 600cc bikes out there that could accommodate me?
the R6 looks big but i really like it.

you might be outta luck, best you can do is flatten the seat and lower the bike. or get a cruiser haha

Get a GSXR 600 and some lowering links. You can drop it like 2" to suit your needs.
