Lots of junk like alphagetti, chips, pop etc.. I'm 5'9 147.
You could call me a skinny fat, I've got a bit of a gut but thats probably due to not being active.

I am tired but you need more fat! You have way to many carbs man. Also try and up the protein for a general bulking rule you should try for a 40/35/25 (protein, carb, fat) split or so.. Wait for Dark to chirp in it's late I need some sleep before my exam.

That many carbs make Baby jesus cry. You're not active, cut those calories to the 3000 or so mark.

    Protein 1.5-2g/lb of body weight.

Get at LEAST 100g of fat a day.

600g of carbs? I'd be 350 pounds with that much

How much carbs would be good to intake if you're cutting without much exercise vs hitting the gym 4 times a week?

Uh WHAT is the point of eating 109g of protein in one meal? You will waste over half that.

All the info is there. Search it up.

But the short answer is (And you won't like this) as many carb and calories as your body can handle.

Of course you probably don't know that answer yet, hence why you're asking. Visit IA's, read about Timed carb dieting. It'll give you some baselines on carb consumption.

Ya that does seem like too many carbs. And not good carbs (empty carbs from rice/pasta.)

If you're going to eat carbs, try to eat more of them from veggies as they have more vitamins and aren't just empty calories.

Also, I noticed some meals you have upwards of 109g of protein, and in some meals you don't have any. Generally (depending on your bodyweight) you should try not to eat more than 30-40g/sitting. I weigh 170lb and I only eat about 30g every sitting. The reason for this is because your body can only metabolize that much at a time (unless you're a bigger guy.)

So spread 30g protein throughout all your meals if you want better absorption/no waste.

Also if you are going to have some meals with high cals/lower cals (for example your 900 vs 200 cal meals,) I would place the high cal meals before and after workout/around dinner time (if you lift in the afternoon.)

Also you probably need more fat. I'd say double at least. And way less carbs around dinner time (sugar will lower sleeping hormone levels which you need if you want to build muscle.) And eat some cottage cheese/some casein protein before you sleep so you don't become catabolic while you sleep.

    what Darkane said.

sounds by your height and weight that you would want to be bulking up then cutting down. so bring on the carbs and calories. plan a set weight you want to reach. bypass it by 10-15 pounds and then lower your intake of carbs and switch them for Low Glycemic ones (yams, brown rice, sweet potato) and increase your healthy protein intake and don't forget the fats (good ones).

i used to know of a website that displayed info on over 1000 types of food and what times you should consume them at the latest to be best for digestion. many people don't realize that all food going into your body has to be digested and plays a huge role in dieting.
