I didn't get an e-mail about the Extreme-i speed increase, anybody have an article?
EDIT: I see it's been done in Saskatchewan already but no word on Alberta.

You should only see the usage report if they have been monitoring you. No complaints and no issues means you won't see the link. I asked them about it once, and they said "well, we _COULD_ monitor you if you like...." that ended the call pretty quickly for me, given I push ~350-400GB/month downstream and 100GB/month upstream on the 10mbit plan...

They said that for the link to appear the abuse department had to be interested in my usage, so no link = they don't care about my usage. That was told to me by a shaw tech support agent.

My usage was normal, or maybe even above, but I specifically asked to have the modem usage added to my account so I can see how its being used.
It never works accurately, and if they wanted to monitor you, they wouldn't care about that link at all, they can monitor you either way. That link doesn't necessarily mean they're monitoring you. They have other tools that specifically show the amount you're downloading and uploading.
btw is that 15mbit/s really gonna happen in calgary?
And is anyone in panaroma/coventry area noticing slowed speeds? I'm on extreme and i m gettin shitty speeds
