    Looking at heading out to hit Aurora Sunday night and just need a cheap ass place to stay...

    Cheap place in Banff, on Valentine's Day, on a long weekend, during ski season!!!!!!

    Not expecting to find anything for less then 150-200....just hoping I can get something for at least that

    ha i booked our hotel about 3.5 weeks ago and it was the 2nd last room avail.

    there is a hostel in the north end of town if you're up for that, forgot the name.

    I think that's called samesun.

    Just hit the phones and see if anywhere has rooms. Aspen lodge is usually pretty affordable, but no idea if it's got rooms.

    If you have a DD, there's a place about 10 minutes out of town on the way to Lake Louise. It's a bunch of little cabins, and you get your own kitchen. Stayed there last month, was $200, 2 rooms and a pullout bed. But the train runs close by and honks it's horn, so keep your windows closed at night, lol.

    I stayed at the Bow View Lodge last weekend. Only set me back about $100.

    Whats a good hotel with access to the hot springs in banff? looking to go next week and tryin to find a good deal...

    What do you mean "access to the hot springs"?

    The hot springs are kind of a long walk from most of the hotels in the area.

    try the hostel...you can get private rooms

    Ya Samesun is pretty cheap. It's a hostel though.

    here are the hostel listings for Banff there are actually quite a few. Though I doubt you will find anywhere just based on ski season and a holiday weekend.
