    Default Complete teardown of a GM 2.4 motor

    The first three pics are from the first day. The rest of the pics are from days two and three of the teardown. The motor is being completely rebuilt because of a cracked piston. Parts arrive on saturday to put it all back together.

    Anything special going in or are you just returning it to stock?

    A new dual friction clutch and pressure plate are going in... but all other internals are staying stock. Just replacing the piston, piston rings, and a few bearings. (note, this isn't my car)
