    Default Mexico

I'm going to Mexico in April for a friend's wedding.

We're going to the Mayan Riviera. I've never been to Mexico so I don't know what I should bring with me. Should I bring US dollars or Mexican pesos??

Are activities pretty expensive outside the resort (i.e. Sea-doo's, boats, zip line....etc)?

    Thanks.

us cash, lots of single's ($1), depends what you want to do but yes most tours outside the resort are rather pricey.

pesos i used them the entire time i was there. activities can be pricey but well worth it. we did a great trip through a company called alltournative tours they were awesome. went to coba ruins did mayan jungle zipline and rapple. kayaking and swimming in cenote. also went to mayan village and had authentic meal served by villagers.this was an amazing activity cost about $140 us i think. worth every penny.we paid with credit card so not sure on entire cost.

Use Mexican Pesos whereever you can... most will accept US at 10/1 but the actual exchange is ~13/1 so they are making money off you.

If you do bring USD, make it small bills so it's easier to get exchanged.

just go on along the beach and bargain with the people for stuff like sea doos, saves you money, plus more fun then going to the company owned ones and having set prices .. plus why woudnt you want to sea doo on real ocean waves? too much fun!
