Question need help reprogramming a V66

i bought a unlocked Motorola V66 via ebay 2 years ago, i stopped using it for awhile and i decided to give it to a friend, but i did a master reset on the phone and now it went back to it's default settings which is for europe i believe, now the phone will not register with the network, anyone know how to fix this??? wouldn't mind paying for programming as long it's a reasonable price. thanks.

no need to reprogram it. the v66 is a tri-band phone so it operates on 900/1800/1900 networks. in north america we use the 1900 network. so just look through the phone for the network selection option and make sure it is set to 1900. thats all you need to do
