Just in case some of you Beyonders are bored this weekend, mabye you should make a trip out to Cochrane on Sunday?
This weekend (March 1st) is the first event of the Western Canada Rally Championship, the Cochrane Winter Rally. Servicing is being held at the (EDIT) Forest Reserve Stages (which is marked quite nicely on the spectator guide which Bituerbo linked), while the stages are right close to the service area (60 odd km's NW of Cochrane). Sounds like there is lots of snow, and the weather should be perfect for spectating (forecast is around 0*C for the high).
More info can be found on www.cochranerally.ca (things like a spectator guide, schedule, etc). Come say hi and blab if you want, I'll be there co-driving for Hardyboy Racing like usual.
This was our car back in 2008 at Cochrane:
Unless if there is a suprise in store for me this Friday, the car should look almost exactly the same (quite a bit more sedate compared to the Subaru Canada decals we were running for most of last year).
