I know people say nice things about the deceased, but this girl was just incredible. Beautiful inside and out, she was like a breath of fresh air since she started a month ago. Always gave a smile and a wave to anyone who walked by, she would brighten up your day no matter how bad it was. She was best friends with the girlfriend of a guy in my dept who got her the job. We sent him home, devastated, and now he has to break the news to her best friend. She was only 19 years old, just starting her life and was looking forward to celebrating her anniversary this weekend - the pictures are still on her desk.
Sorry to hear that man. Be safe on the roads.

There is a barrier but if your traveling Westbound it ends once you pass under Crowchild Trail and then it is just a grass median. If your traveling east bound on Glenmore the barrier starts when you pass under Crowchild.

RIP. When I was watching the news this morning and they said they had closed Glenmore I knew it wasnt going to be good.

I cant picture this part of Glenmore... would those cables they put on the Deerfoot have helped here?

Right under the overpass ramp that goes from Crowchild South onto Glenmore.

Thats sad, your just trying to get to work in the morning, and anyone could spin out, especially with the condition the roads were in this morning. Sucks she was soooo young. I bet the truck driver is devastated.

Although I curse when deerfoot is backed up to Country Hills and I rarely leave first gear in my car, sometimes I guess it is a blessing in disguise that traffic is going sooooo slowly.

It is always a shame to lose someone no matter the age. But it is always worse when they are younger.
