The Calgary Police Service has laid charges as part of an
investigation relating to drug trafficking in the downtown
core.

On Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009, members of the Calgary Police
Service District 1 Special Duties Team, with the assistance
of the Calgary Police Service Drug Unit, executed a search
warrant in the Falconridge area.

Officers seized a loaded Taurus, .38 calibre revolver, 10
grams of crack cocaine and $635 cash.

Police have charged two Calgary men in relation to this
investigation.

Issa Ali ISSA, 25, was charged with two counts of trafficking
cocaine and one count of possession of property obtained by
crime.

Yussuf Saed YUSSUF, 23, as been charged with possession of
cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of
property obtained by crime, unsafe storage of a firearm,
unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a
restricted weapon with ammunition and possession of a firearm
with the serial number altered.
