This month's contest will be a wallpaper creation contest.
A basic explanation on creation of the image:
Your wallpaper entry will consist of 3 parts, text, objects and a background image.
1) You can choose ONLY 4 OF THE IMAGES PROVIDED BELOW These pictures will be the "objects" portion of your wallpaper entry. Feel free to use less than 4 objects if you would like.
NEW ADDITION TO THIS RULE: YOU ARE ALLOWED TO USE YOUR 4 CHOSEN PICTURES AS MANY TIMES AS YOU WOULD LIKE IN YOUR ENTRY (ie...you can chop up the pic and use a portion of it/use many portions of it/use the whole pic. Basically use whatever parts you want of the pictures as many times as you want, break the pictures into pieces (blind effect etc..) or use the picture as a whole )
2) Create/find a background image that you would like to use as a background for these 4 pictures (remember...your overall image has to be 800x600pixels in size so take this into account when creating your background). You can even use one of your chosen pictures as your background picture if you would like.
3) You then MUST include a text piece. The words you MUST include in your image is "Speedtech Racing Development". This can either be a graphic of the word speedtech or simply typed text.

PLEASE make sure to read ALL the rules of the contest before starting to avoid any confusion :
The contest will run from October 11th until the end of the day on November 15th. Entries must be submitted by 11:59pm on November 15th. (if it really matters....this is in Mountain Time). Don’t try and make a late submission…..it won’t happen
-The winner of this contest will be chosen by the employess of Speedtech Racing Development. Their decision is final and will not be overturned under any condition. 3 Top Entries will be chosen (1st, 2nd and 3rd place) so there will still be a winner in the case that somebody decides to forfeit the prize because of some reason.
- The only changes that can be made to these pictures are indirect changes to the picture (ie.no direct modification of the picture). These can include flip, stretch, resize, lower opacity, add an effect to it, darken the pic etc... The only other change that will be allowed is the deleting of shadows surrounding vehicles and removal of content in windows. You can basically add any effect/blend it any way you like....just don't MODIFY anything on the original picture in anyway (ie..change wheels or anything like we do in previous ps contests) If any other changes are made to any of the 4 chosen pictures, your entry will be disqualified

- The picture MUST be submitted at a size of 800x600 pixels. NO EXCEPTIONS. Simply attach the image to your post.
- Picture must be in a format which can be attached to your entry post. If you choose to upload to your own web space make sure that you have a reliable host and after uploading it is still the same quality that the original picture was. Remember that red X’s do not count as entries
- You are permitted to submit only 1 entry per contest
- Only submit your entry to this thread once you decide that it is final. All entries posted in this thread are considered to be final and will be saved on my hd. If you try to edit your post so you can put up a new picture with changes made you will be disqualified.
- You are permitted to use any graphic editing program to edit the picture (even use MS paint if you feel like it…)
- Since this is a wallpaper contest....there can NOT be any moving/animated parts on the image.
- Your photo shopped picture cannot include vulgar, nudity, or sexual content.
- If your entry has been found to be using parts from another photo shopped picture you will be immediately disqualified from the contest. This includes stealing parts from photoshopped images in the comments thread
- DO NOT try and cheat the contest in anyway. You WILL be caught and dealt with accordingly (ban from beyond completely or disqualified)
- If you have something to say about a picture or have questions about the contest PLEASE post your comments in the Photoshop Contest Comments thread ONLY.
- Do not post anything other than your picture in the entry thread, any other type of posts in this thread will be deleted.
- You can win prizes from the photoshop contests a maximum of 4 times per year.
- Administrators and Moderators can enter the contests
- If you win a prize and live outside of the Calgary area you will be expected to account for shipping costs. If you decide not to accept the prize it will be forfeitted and given to the user in 2nd place.
Final Interpretation of these rules will be left up to Zephyr and nismodrifter
ANY ENTRY THAT VIOLATES THESE RULES WILL BE DELETED ASAP. THE CONTESTANT WILL BE NOTIFIED IF HIS OR HER ENTRY IS REMOVED. THEY WILL BE ABLE TO ALTER THEIR ENTRY TO MEET THE QUALIFICATIONS AND RESUBMIT THE PICTURE BEFORE THE CONTEST'S END. If the entry was your only copy, we are not responsible for your loss, please keep a backup in your computer.
Judging:
A winner for this month's contest will be chosen by Speedtech Employees/Owners.

1. One entry per member!
2. Do not post more than once, and please no comment posts to avoid clustering up the thread. COMMENT AND EXTRA POSTS WILL BE DELETED. PLEASE POST IN THE COMMENT THREAD IF YOU HAVE A COMMENT TOWARDS A ENTRY.
