    Default Floor and wall tile.

I'm developing my basement and need to select some tile for the bathroom. I've been to the big box stores (Rona, Totem, Home Depot) and didn't care for the selection. Any suggestions of any places with good selection that will sell direct? I figure it's too small of an area to make it worth anyone's while to come and install, so I'd like to give it a shot on my own.

Northland construction supplies has a decent selection and the prices aren't that bad. I picked up 18x18 honed and filled travertine last fall.

City Tile on 11th Ave and 12St SW has some really cool tiles, a little pricey though.

Sierra Tol is behind the Blackfoot Inn

Stone Tile is on the street that parallells Blackfoot behind the Casino.

Both are higher end stores if I recall.

    Great selections though.

Ames Brothers Tile and Julian Tile on 9th st S.E. right down the street from Frank Sissons. There is also Eurotile on 42nd ave and 10th street SE I believe. I get all my stuff from Ames and they are always very helpful.

Try calling Maddog55 (Dave the Tile guy), he know suppliers that might have odds and ends or discounted models.

probably your best bet. He had something like a hundred some odds and ends at his house when I worked for him.

Some good suggestions. I might give Northland a look. I deal with them through work, but mostly for concrete stuff. I knew they did tile stuff, but thought it was more like thinset and trowels kind of stuff. I didn't know they had the actual tiles there too.
